Thomas D. “Tommy” Wilson, 59, of Coal Grove, OH passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. Tom was born February 2, 1958 in Wurtland, KY, a son of the late Cecil “Woody” and Hazel (Bailey) Wilson. He was a Machinist for 30 years at Jenmar-McSweeney, a drummer for 32 years for local bands and a member of New Life Church, Huntington, WV where he worked in the Audio Department. He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Aldridge) Wilson; step-son, Cameron Roach of Coal Grove, OH; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Phillip Barker, Wurtland, KY; a brother, Tim Wilson of KY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Ronald Joplin officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton.
