James Henry Ritter, 90, of Ironton, OH died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home. He was born June 19, 1927 at Ohio Furnace, OH, a son of the late Henry Ritter and Ethel Long Ritter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Esther Ritter, Mary Miller, Mildred Slaughter, Josephine Miller, Joseph Ritter, Rosa Klaiber and Leonard Ritter. He was retired as a mechanic for Fannin Toyota, Lincoln-Mercury Garage. Survivors include his son, Rick (Deborah) Perkins of Ironton; two grandchildren, Rick James Perkins of Ironton and Deidre Perkins of Ironton; a sister, Margaret (John) Sanders of Ironton; and a great granddaughter, Kelisa Blevins. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Gary Arthurs and Pastor Denny Hankins officiating.
