DONALD H. LAMBERT, 84 of South Point, OH died Friday, April 15, 2011 at home. Funeral services will be noon Monday, April 18, 2011 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Jerry Greenslait and Earl Slack officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, OH. Donald was born September 16, 1926, in Prichard, WV, a son of the late French and Viola Stewart Lambert. He was a member of South Point Christian Church, a retired minister and retired from American Electric Power Company after 30 years. He loved working with model trains and his ham radio. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Lee Lambert; and two sisters, Violet Williams and Emma McFerran. Donald is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Cook Lambert; one son, Earnest (Jessie) Lambert of Ashland, KY; three daughters, Paulette (Steve) Haney of Pittsburgh, TX, Patty (David) Jenkins of Sciotoville, OH and Wanda (Lonnie) Lynch of South Point, OH; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
