Stanton Jay Craddock

Stanton Jay Craddock, 69, of Ironton, OH, formerly of South Point died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home. He was born August 29, 1948 in Ironton, OH, the son of the late Bobby Lee Craddock and Wilma Freeman Craddock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Donna Craddock. Stan retired from South Point High School as a Social Studies Teacher. He was Assistant Director for over 25 years at the local Tri-State D.U.I. School and also marketed for Spectrum Outreach Counseling Services. Stan is survived by his wife, Jane Scherer Craddock; two step-sons, Matthew (Jamie) Frazer and their three sons, Austin, Xander and Jacob of Ironton, OH and Christopher Frazer and son James of Ironton, OH; two brothers, Stephen (Lois) Craddock of South Point, OH and Randy Craddock of Louisville, KY. Funeral Service will be 12 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with visitation one hour prior to the service. Jason Ridgeway and Robert Payne will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Donations can be made to the 10th and Vine Church of Christ Food Pantry, Ironton, OH.
