Shirley Lutes, 73, of South Point, OH died Friday, April 29, 2011 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2011 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Jerry Greenslait officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Shirley was born July 3, 1937 in Cabell Co., WV, a daughter of the late Albert Stapleton and Molly Basenback Stapleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lutes and a son, Robert Lutes, Jr. She is survived by 4 sons, Fred (Tim) Drake, Joshua (Laura) Drake, Randy Lutes and Ryan Lutes; 2 daughters, Dianna (John) Conley and Debbie (Joey) Canas; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and extended family members, Juanita Chapman and Bill and Carol Basenback.
