JoAnn Perdue, 75, of South Point, OH passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. She was born on October 16, 1941 in Catlettsburg, KY, the daughter of late George Preston and Edna Meade Preston. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Perdue, Jr. and her daughter, Delores Reffitt. JoAnn is survived by her children, Gloria Perdue, Lisa Perdue, Brenda Brown, Timmy Perdue, Shonda Marshall and Jennifer Suttles; a sister, Georgene Ball; a brother, Cecil Cooksey; ten grandchildren, Jacob Perdue, Leslie Hargis, Carmen Lafon, Brandon Brown, Carl Dean, Samantha Dean, Ciara Adorno, Angela Pyles, Stephanie Pyles and Steven Pyles and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Rick Perdue officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH. Contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
