    George E. Sanders, 75, of Kitts Hill, OH, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton, OH.  He was born June 16, 1943 in Lawrence County, OH, son of the late Robert and Florence Kuhne Sanders.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernita Joy Sanders and brother, Jim Sanders.  George was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 8850, Ironton, OH and loved to hunt turkey and deer.  Survivors include his loving wife, Shelia Kay Nance Sanders of Kitts Hill, OH; three children, Nada Rae (Dale) Jenkins of Kitts Hill, OH, Kari “Cork” (Steven) Bradshaw of Kitts Hill, OH and Georgie Sanders of Kitts Hills, OH; four sisters, Ethel Coffman of MI, Anita Scherer of Kitts Hill, OH, Ruby Sanders of Ironton, OH and Gladys Ray of Ironton, OH; four brothers, Robert Sanders of NM, Tim Sanders of Kitts Hill, OH, Ernest Sanders of Flatwoods, KY and Orville Sanders of Ironton, OH; two grandchildren, Chelsea (Jonny) Chinn and Whitney Bradshaw; four great grandchildren, Jackson Chinn, Grayson Chinn, Mikayla Chinn and Braelyn Chinn and two special friends, Billy Akers and Lee Fetters.  Funeral Service will be 2 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Leon Dalton officiating.  Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery, Ironton, OH.  Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
