    Kay D. Griswold, 84, of Ironton, OH passed away at home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  She was born in Lawrence County, OH on December 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Roy Markin and Lillian Hammonds.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Murphy and LaVay Nunley and one brother, Glen Markin.  Kay is survived by her daughter, Kim Griswold of South Point, OH, three brothers, Jerry (Betty) Sweeney of Leesburg, FL, Mike (Bonnie) Sweeney of Kansas City, MO and Bill Sweeney of Ironton, OH; many nieces and nephews and her four legged friends, Molly, Dooley and Sparky.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Donations can be made to Community Hospice, Ashland, KY.  Condolences may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
