    Edgar Willis “Eddie” Combs, 62, of South Point, OH died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born February 14, 1956 in Louisa, KY, a son of Ethel Adkins Combs of Lavalette, WV and the late Roy Combs, Sr.. He was Vice-President of the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Society, was a very active member of BB’s Car Club and was a 1974 graduate of Buffalo-Wayne High School. Eddie was saved in 1974 at Grace Gospel Church, Huntington, WV and was an Eagle Scout with Scout Troop 170, Lavalette. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Robin Combs; two step-children, Crystal (Jackie) Withrow of South Point and Joshua (Rachel) Maynard of Pedro, OH; four grandchildren, Bryce Stevens of NC and Abby Bloomfield, Willow Maynard and Jarrett Maynard, all of Pedro; a sister, Beverly (Joe) Langdon of Huntington, WV; a brother, Roy (Karen) Combs, Jr. of Newcomerstown, OH; and several nieces, nephew, cousins and extended family. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Minister Mark Booth officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation (www.myasthenia.org) or the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Society.
