Wanda Louise Davis, 86 of South Point, Ohio left this world for glory on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio.
Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio.Wanda was born August 14, 1927 in Wayne, WV- a daughter of the late Brady and Hattie Dawson Riggs. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Huntington, West Virginia. Since April 2013, Wanda resided, and was loved and well cared for at Morning Pointe Ridge Assisted Living in Russell, KY.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, McRay “Mack” Davis; and two brothers, James “Jim Bob” Riggs and Glen Riggs.
Wanda is survived by – one son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Julie Davis of Proctorville, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law Mary and Bob Kirk of Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Atha Christian of Chesapeake, Ohio; one brother, Brady Riggs, Jr of Genoa, West Virginia.; four grandchildren,:Meghan Kirk Tingley and husband Richard Tingley of Austin, Texas, Ben Kirk and Bryan Kirk of Fort Worth, Texas and Ethan Davis of Proctorville, Ohio; as well as one great grandchild, Braiden Tingley of Austin, Texas. Wanda also had numerous special nieces and nephews across multiple generations and great friends- too numerous to mention.Friends may pay respects and visit on Saturday 12/21 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home in South Point.
