Mary R. Hade, 71, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Jo-Lin Health Center, Ironton, OH. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM Thursday, December 12, 2013 with funeral services at 3 PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Pastor Trent Carpenter of C-3 Church in South Point officiating. Mary was born August 7, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Rowekamp Schardine. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband, James J. Hade; and a daughter, Barbara Jean Conley. Mary loved to play bingo. She is survived by 8 children, Susan (Nick) Hanshaw of South Point, OH, Cheri Luce of San Diego, CA, Chuck (Jennifer) Conley of South Point, OH, Mike (Sally) Conley of Rush, KY, Mary Kay Napier of South Point, OH, Roxanne (Bruce) Johnson and Carrie (Dave) Hildebrand, all of California and Pam Buhl of Mesa, AZ; three sisters, Ruth Auckerman, Ann Auckerman and Helen Auckerman; eight brothers, William E. Schardine, Jack Auckerman, Don Auckerman, Blaine Auckerman, Jimmy Auckerman, Bert Auckerman, Louie Auckerman and Larry Auckerman; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
