Fannie Maxine McKee, 89, of South Point, OH died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Maxine was born April 14, 1924 in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late Floyd W. Riley and Atfa Mae Hammond Riley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Pete” McKee; four sisters; four brothers; one grandson, Carl Crabtree, Jr.; and two great grandchildren. She attended Sunrise Church of the Nazarene. Maxine is survived by two children, Linda Crabtree and Earl McKee; one sister, Mildred Moore; five grandchildren, Kathleen Ellis, Brenda Kelley, Carolyn Barnett, Kristin McKee and Michael McKee; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Rev. Bryan Chaffins officiating.
