Richard Dale Henson, 54, of Chesapeake, OH died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Lou Ashworth officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Richard was born June 9, 1959 in Huntington, WV, a son of David and Rose Ball Henson of South Point. He was a technician with Dodrill Heating and Air, Cross Lanes, WV. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Deidre Rene Henson of Upper Arlington, OH; a brother, David Lee Henson of South Point; nephews, Brian Henson, Aaron Henson and Mark Henson; and a niece, Terra Nichols.
