Ronald Edward Roach, Sr., 57 of Coal Grove passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.  The Coal Grove resident was born January 27, 1961, the son of Lillian Delores Richardson Roach of Coal Grove and the late Richard Lee Roach, Sr.  He is also survived by his wife, Rita Lou Roach.  Ronald was a 1979 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and a former Welder and Pipe Fitter with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #577 out of Portsmouth Ohio for 25 + years.  He was an amazing man that loved his family, friends, Jesus and was of the Miller Lite faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jody Lynn Sherman Roach. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dixie Leah Roach of Coal Grove; a son, Ronald Edward Roach, Jr., of Coal Grove; step-son, Justin Matthew Roach of Kyoto, Japan; sister, Dixie (Henry) Douglas of Coal Grove; brother, Richard (Mary) Roach of South Webster, OH; many nieces, nephews; and numerous special friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held 5 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Roach residence.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
