    Perry Gene Lisath, 64 of Ironton, OH, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, June 21, 2014 at New Jerusalem Christian Center, Ironton, OH with Bishop Edward Eugene Shouse officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH. He was born May 4, 1950 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Wilburn and Ruth O’Dell Lisath. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lisath. Perry was a member of New Jerusalem Christian Center, where he was head usher and ordained as a deacon. He attended Ohio University Southern Campus, was a Scioto County Deputy Sherriff and also worked at Good Year Atomic Plant in Piketon, OH. He is survived by 4 sisters, Rose Marie Shouse of Columbus, OH, Ruth Ann Lisath of Indianapolis, IN, Trenda Gaynell of Portsmouth, OH and Cynthia Geneva Lisath of Columbus, OH; 6 brothers, William “Bill” Lisath of Circleville, OH, Roy B. Lisath of Columbus, OH, Kenneth Lisath of Ironton, OH, Richard Lisath of Portsmouth, OH, Jeffrey Lisath of Chillicothe, OH and Mark Anthony Lisath of New Albany, OH; a special friend, Jerry (Jerry Pie) Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends may call Saturday one hour prior to the service at New Jerusalem Christian Center. Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
