Danny Lee Salyers, 54, of Ironton, OH died Sunday, August 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1960 in Ashland, KY, a son of William Salyers of Fostoria, OH and Dianna Floyd Barnett of South Point, OH. Danny was an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Barnett and a brother, William “Billy” Salyers. In addition to his parents he is survived by 5 children, Melissa Dawn Weaver of Ashland, KY, Diana Gail Davis of Ironton, Daniel Ray Salyers of Coal Grove, OH, Justin Dean Hildreth of Ironton and Travis Lee Salyers of Ironton; 3 sisters, Rhonda Salyers Cornell, Evonda Gail Barnett and Marlene Elliot; 5 brothers, Charlie Barnett, Johnny Salyers, Kevin Ray Barnett, Timothy Ralph Barnett, and Randy Gene Barnett; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Rev. Darren Spainhower officiating.
