Connie J. Lake, 62, of Ironton, OH died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. She was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Freda Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ora Louann McGuire and Patricia Ann Wilson; and 1 brother, Paul Edward Wilson. She was a 1970 graduate of Rock Hill High School and worked as a site manager for CAO at the Senior Center on Park Avenue in Ironton. She is survived by her husband, Hobert Lake; 3 children, Crystal (Jeff) Bentley, Bobbi (Charlie) Reed and James (Lesley) Roseberry of Ironton; 2 sisters, Janice Unrue-Crum and Brenda Collingsworth; 2 brothers, Gary (Carol) Wilson and Harold Lee “John” Wilson; 2 sisters-in-law, Katherine Wilson and Diana Wilson; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Bentley, Brianna and Charli Reed; a special great niece, Jaylyn Marie Unrue; and 5 step-children, Terri (Dwight), Hobert, Jr. (Emily), Mark, Dee and Kevin. Visitation will be Sunday 5 to 7 PM and funeral services Monday at 12 Noon at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastors David Schug and Eric Barnes officiating.
