Leroy Cremeans, 86, of South Point, OH, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. He was born June 25, 1928 in South Point, a son of the late Henry Jackson Cremeans and Elva Robbins Cremeans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Lee Cremeans and a brother, James Cremeans. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Jane Frazier of Coal Grove, OH; and four siblings, Agnes Pemberton of South Point, Harrison Cremeans of Chesapeake, OH, and Geneva Meadows and Genevieve Mulkey, both of Ironton, OH. Leroy was member of Sunrise Church of the Nazarene; an Army veteran of the Korean War and a former employee of Marshall University and Polland Glass Company. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH.
