Margaret L. “Margie” Jones, 72, of South Point, OH passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Patrick Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. She was born June 19, 1942 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Jasper “Top” Butcher and Kathryn Nichols Butcher. Margaret was a member of Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church where she was very involved with the nursery and Team Kids programs. Survivors include her husband, Danny L. Jones of Chesapeake ; three children, Sherri Gould of South Point, Michael (Jackie) Jones of South Point and D. J. (Tasha) Jones of Proctorville, OH; one sister, Sandy (Jon) Light of South Point; a grandson, Anthony Jones; four great grandchildren, Maddox, Julian, Anastasia and Violet; special friends, Gerry Jones and Jeannie Keys; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
