Sara Ann Thoman, 17, of South Point, OH died Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born April 15, 1997 in Huntington, WV, the daughter of Steven A. Thoman and Karen C. Schneider of South Point. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jennie Schneider. Sara was a senior and a varsity cheerleader at South Point High School. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, T. J. Schneider of Huntington; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Kay Thoman of South Point; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at South Point High School. Burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the school from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point is assisting the family with arrangements.
