Mable Adkins, 87, of South Point, OH died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born November 19, 1927 in Relief, KY, a daughter of the late Chris and Anna Gullett. She retired as a cook from the former Pulley’s Care Center. She is survived by 2 daughters, Betty Jo Peters of Springfield, MO and Mary Ann Blake of South Point; a son, Leon Adkins of Ft. Worth, TX; 6 grandchildren, Lee Peters, Elizabeth Langdon, Shawn Blake, Tyler Blake, Ryan Adkins and Matthew Adkins; and 3 great grandchildren, Hunter Blake, Kodee Langdon and Regan Blake. Graveside services will be 1 PM Monday, December 15, 2014 at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH with Jerry Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
