Judy Ann Jackson

April 20, 1948 - December 31, 2014

Judy Ann (Kinder) Jackson, 66 of South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Judy was born April 20, 1948 in Boone County, WV. She was a 1965 graduate of Sherman High School. Judy was a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother figure to many. Judy was preceded in death by son, Roy Dale Jackson; parents, Roy and Sally Marie Kinder; sister, Cora Jane Payne; and two brothers, Wilmon Kinder and Carlos Kinder.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Dale Jackson, Sr.; devoted son Dale Jackson II (Brandi) of South Point, OH and stepson, Jimmy Dale (Molly) Jackson of Cleveland, OH. Her much loved grandchildren, Brandin Jackson and Braden Jackson both of South Point, OH, who were the pride and joy of her life. Step grandchildren, Billy Jackson and Brittni Jackson both of Cleveland, OH. Sisters, Pauline (Buck) Barker and Arbutus (Don) Bell both of Ashford, WV; Joyce (Basil) Baire of Alum Creek, WV; brothers, Almon (Beaulah) Kinder and Gary (Phyllis) Kinder both of Ashford, WV, and Billy (Ruth) Kinder of Cleveland, OH and many special nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Lisa (Nettie), Karen, Tommy, Donna, Denise, Andrew, Karrie, Aaron, Mandi, and Kayla for your love and support throughout our time of need. Also, a special thank you to our friend Megan Brown for her thoughtful support.
Friends may call 6 to 8 PM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 AM Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Brother Kenneth Samms officiating. Burial will follow at Barker Cemetery, Ashford, WV.
