    Eloise Malessa Ash Young Moore, 77, of South Point, OH, a child of God passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Charles Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington 37 Cemetery, Burlington, OH. Eloise was born October 15, 1937 at Glenwood, WV, a daughter of the late Earl Cebert Ash and Hazel Marie Paxton Ash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 loving husbands Theodore (Ted) Young and Charles H. Moore; 3 brothers, William, Charles and Denny Ash; and a sister, Juanita Ash. She was a member of Lighthouse Church, Buffalo Creek Road, South Point. She loved God first and foremost and spending time in church. She raised her children in church and taught them to sing. She loved to sing the gospel, played the guitar, piano and the organ. She painted, sewed, could build a house and work on cars. She loved working puzzles. There was nothing she could not do if she put her mind to it. She raised her children, Sharon (Tom) Cotton, Bobby (Lujean) Young, Anita Young, Yavanda (Allen) Dolen and Karen (Bob) Geick; 3 children by marriage, Tony (Lynn) Moore, Theresa Moore and Debra (Danny) Conwell; 2 sisters, Margaret McAvoy Walker and Wanda Schull; 18 grandchildren, Timothy (Malissa) Crabtree, Douglas (Lori) Crabtree, Malissa (Richard) Richmond, Amy (Curtis) Carpenter, Valerie (Josh) Maltman, Bobby Young, II, Nathan Dolen, Jessica (Cliff) Stickler, Gerrad (Samantha) Young, Eric Conwell, Keith (Misty) Conwell, Christopher Conwell, Shawn Martin, Tyronza (Joe) Harper, Keisa Martin, Tony Martin and Chelsea Moore; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandson; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends and extended family. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com. A dinner will follow graveside services for the family and friends in the banquet room at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.
