Carol "Rose" Christian

December 10, 1939 - November 19, 2018

Carol Rosemary “Rose” Brammer Christian, 78, of South Point, OH went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  She was born December 10, 1939 in Chesapeake, OH, a daughter of the late Elmer Francis Brammer and Beulah Garnet Gossett Brammer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elwin Brammer; three sisters, Louella Christian, Lenora Riley and Frances Smoot; and a granddaughter, Beverly Christian Osborne.  Rose was a retired employee at South Point Middle School where she was affectionately known as the “Lunch Lady.”  She was a member of Union United Brethren Church in Proctorville, OH.  Survivors include her husband, Jack Christian; a daughter, Angie (Don) Dalton of South Point; a son, Mark (Cindy) Christian of South Point; a sister, Shirley Chapman of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Jenna Roberts, Hannah Roberts, Cole Christian, Kaitlyn Christian, and Chris Osborne; great-grandchild, Xavier Osborne; and dear friend, Tom Roberts.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Paul Michael Booth officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beverly Christian Osborne Memorial Scholarship Fund.
