Harold L. Daniel

Harold L. Daniel, 79, of Coal Grove, OH passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1935 in Offutt, KY, a son of the late Elmer Daniel and Nancy Collinsworth Daniel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Delmar Daniel and Hubert Daniel and 4 sisters, Frankie Ratliff, Norma Meade, Daisey Preston and Veneda Rose. Harold was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired employee of Sears. He was also a member of Campbell Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Ironton, OH. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Blackburn Daniel; 1 daughter, Sherri (Jeff) Lewis of Flatwoods, KY; 1 son, Todd (Tracie) Daniel of Paintsville, KY; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Riggs, David Henderson, Stephanie Daniel and Matthew Daniel; and 2 great grandchildren, Olivia Riggs and Bryan Riggs. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Bob Bradley and Rev. Steve Rose officiating.
