    Kathleen Sheppard, 89, of South Point, OH passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Charles Lane, Pastor Robert Carter and Jerry Greenslait officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Kathleen was born February 11, 1925 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Davidson Sr. and Myrtle Neece Davidson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Sheppard; two sisters, Eileen Sutton and Maxine Sloan; one sister-in-law, Donna Davidson; four brothers-in-law, Edward Sloan, Vernon Sutton, Charles Austin, I and Cecil Whitley; and two nephews. Kathleen was a graduate of Coal Grove High School, a former employee of Sylvania, retired as a selector from Owens-Illinois Glass Co. and a member of South Point 1st Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by two sisters, Delores Whitley and Elizabeth Austin, both of South Point, OH; three brothers, James (Marilyn) Davidson, Robert Lee Davidson, Jr. and Ronald (Kathryn) Davidson, all of South Point, OH; many nieces and nephews; wonderful friends; and four special caregivers. Friends may call Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to South Point Church of the Nazarene, 401 Solida Rd., South Point, OH 45680 of Sunrise Church of the Nazarene, 531 County Rd. 17, South Point, OH 45680.
