    Charles “Ed” Davis, 76, of South Point, OH died Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his home. He was born January 4, 1942 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Clarence Davis and Della Mayhone Davis.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kristina Davis and four brothers, Marion Davis, Bud Davis, Johnny Davis and Mikey Davis.  Ed worked as a mason and was the biggest Herd fan.  Survivors include his wife, Gloria J. Fayne Davis; five children, Judy (Glenn) Snyder of West Hamlin, WV, Katrina Phelps of Russell, KY, Charles Craig (Audrey) Tibbs of Deland, FL, Kimberly (Duane Taylor) Duncan of South Point and John (Julie Jewell) Tibbs of South Point; four sisters, Betty (Lonnie) Brown of Oklahoma, Patricia (Charlie) Liston of West Virginia, Susie Gordon of Ohio and Rosa (Ronnie) Galloway of Ohio; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Tony Schneider officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
