Isom Willis

January 5, 1931 - March 9, 2015

Isom “Bus” Willis, 84, of South Point, OH went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2015. He was born January 5, 1931, the eldest son of George and Gracie Willis. He grew up in South Point, then proudly served in the U. S. Army. After service, he became an Ironworker out of Local 769 in Ashland, KY. He resided in South Point with his wife of 44 years, Ruth Anna (Bowman) Willis. After retirement, he enjoyed reading, fishing and working with his hands. A cherished father, grandfather and brother, he will be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and three brothers, Tom, Bill and George Willis. Survivors include one sister, Sally Harless; a daughter, Kristina Parker; and a grandson, Christopher Parker. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Aaron Childers officiating. Burial will follow at Zoar Cemetery, Coal Grove, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
