Gloria Miniard

July 19, 1941 - October 25, 2017

Gloria Miniard, 76, of Catlettsburg, KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 28, 2017 at England Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Catlettsburg with Pastor Willie May officiating.  Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland.  She was born July 19, 1941, in Hazard, KY a daughter of the late Edward Donahue and Isma Bowling Donahue.  She was a member of England Hill Free Will Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miniard.  Survivors include 2 sons, Eddie Joe (Barb) Miniard and Michael Ray (Teresa) Miniard; a daughter, Debra (L.J.) Moore; and 7 seven grandchildren, Kristin Ashworth, Brandon Joe Miniard, Kristin Jo Miniard, Austin Allen Miniard, Whitney Nicole Miniard, Harlee Rae Miniard and Ava Marie Moore.  Friends may call at the church from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, October 27, 2017.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
