Helen L. Fleming

Helen L. Fleming, 73 of Kitts Hill, OH passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at home with her family by her side.  Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, November 13, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastors Jeff Cremeans and Leon Dalton officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH.  She was born February 14, 1944 in Kitts Hill, OH a daughter of the late Ira and Ruth Marie Short Clonch.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Fleming; a brother, Bill Clonch; and two sisters, Lillie McAfee and Clara Mabel Kitchen.  She was a nurse’s aide for over 30 years.  Helen is survived by her niece, Connie (Jade) McDonald; great nephews, Gabriel Salyers and Jacob McDonald; a sister, Carrie Edith Sparks; a brother, Samuel (Mallie) Clonch; a sister-in-law, Caroline Clonch; and numerous other nieces and nephews.  Friends may visit before the service from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
