Rita A. Schneider

October 11, 1957 - November 29, 2017

Rita A. Schneider, 60, of Chesapeake, OH went home to be with the Lord following a brief illness, Wednesday, November 29, 2017.  She was born October 11, 1957 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Bernard and Patricia Simmons Schneider.  Rita attended church at Christ Temple Church in Huntington, WV and was an office supervisor for WV American Water Company.  She is survived by a sister, Julie (Brian) Freeman of Chesapeake, OH; two brothers, Mike (Diane) Schneider of Chesapeake, OH and John (Lois) Schneider of Willow Wood, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Rev. Harold Hamlin officiating.  Burial will follow at Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH.  Friends may visit from 12 pm to 2 pm before the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Getaway Cemetery perpetual care fund % Glenn Ellis, 800 County Road 36, Chesapeake, OH 45619.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
