Mary A. Ruggles

Mary Ruggles, 67, of Ironton, OH died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at her home.  She was born August 26, 1950 in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late William Hamilton, Jr. and Ida Turvey Butler.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Espinoza; two sisters, Angie Clark and Thelma Stevens and one brother, George Hamburg.  Mary worked at Accent Home Health as a Home Health Aide and was of the Baptist Faith.  She is survived by her husband, Homer L. Ruggles; three children, Regina (Jeff) Massie, Marty (Stacy) Ruggles and Stacy (Bev) Ruggles; three sisters, Diane Hamilton, Brenda Collins and Shonnie Butler; three brothers, Gene Hamilton, David Butler and Jerry Salyers; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Jonell) Espinoza, Michael and Amber Massie, Laken and Rachael Ruggles, Jonah Bruce, Cadin and Lekaelynn Sparks and a special friend, Minnie Anderson.  Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Rev. Dale Knipp officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ironton, OH.  Friends may visit from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
