Ralph E. Kearns, Sr.

Ralph E. Kearns, Sr. (Hawk), 91, of South Point, OH passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, KY.  He was born February 25, 1927 in Lawrence County, OH, son of the late Roscoe and Alice Wells Kearns.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Roscoe Kearns and Glenn Kearns and one sister, Edna Smith.  Ralph was a member of the Church of Christ, South Point, OH.  Survivors include his children, Gilda (Charles Bernard) Kearns Kinder of South Point, OH, Ralph E. (Shirley) Kearns, Jr. of Worthington, KY and Dreama Sue (Donald) Ashworth of South Point, OH; a brother, Garland Wendall (Helen) Kearns of South Point, OH; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral Service will be 12 PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at South Point Church of Christ, South Point, OH with Paul Drake officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH.  Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
