Sara Elizabeth Barbour

Sara Elizabeth Barbour, 97 of South Point, OH passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Kings Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, KY. She was born June 23, 1920 in Salyersville, KY, a daughter of the late Filmore McKinley Bayes and Juanita Tallent Bayes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kelsie Barbour and her brother, Carlos Woodford Bayes. Sara graduated from South Point High School, retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers and attended South Point Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her son, Jeff Barbour. Funeral Services will be 1 PM January 11, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
