Dorothy Jane Webb

February 25, 1940 - January 3, 2018

Dorothy Jane Webb, 77 of Columbus, OH, formally from South Point, OH passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 after a short illness.  Dorothy was born February 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Scott and Clara Elkins Webb.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Webb.  Dorothy attended South Point High School and recently retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital after 48 years of service.  She was a member of Sheridan Methodist Church.  Dorothy is survived by four sisters; Mary McComas of Columbus, OH; Armana Irvine of Barboursville, WV; Patricia Hawthorne and Jeanie Malone of South Point, OH; and a brother, Monte Webb of South Point, OH.   She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral services will be 1 PM Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Rev. Roger Pierce officiating.  Friends may visit from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, KY.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
