Mildred Geneva Hall Craddock Wells, 91, formerly of South Point, OH, left this life January 10, 2018 at her home in Shawnee Hills, OH. Her daughter, Kim Craddock Lawrence and, and her daughter in law, Kathy Larkins, were at her side. She was born on October 12, 1926 in McVeigh, KY, and was lovingly raised by her grandmother, Cynthia Hall McClure. She was preceded in death by 2 amazing husbands, Cephus Maynard Craddock, 54 years, and Henry Ford Wells, 15 years, and her dear sister, Juanita Hall Fugitt. In addition to Kim and Kathy, she is survived by daughter, Karma Craddock Vaughn; 3 step children Connie (Brownie) Perkey, Joy (Ivan) Hanshaw, Mike (Becky) Wells; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren; as well as a great number of extended family and friends. She was a long-time member of the South Point Church of Christ. Our deepest thanks go to the compassionate caregivers of Capital City Hospice who cared for our mother and supported us as she made the journey to her forever home. Mildred will be remembered Friday, January 12, 2018 with visitation at 9 am and service at 10 am at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH, with Minister Mark Aites officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH.  If you wish to honor Mildred, instead of flowers, please make a donation to your local food bank or to the Alzheimer’s Association (Alz.org).   Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
