William E. Jordan

August 10, 1935 - February 6, 2019

William Edward Jordan, 83, of South Point, OH passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.  He was born August 10, 1935 in Lorain, OH.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Mayre Rousch Jordan; one son, Harold Samuel Jordan and one brother, Richard Jordan.  Survivors include his four daughters, Karen Jean Hawk, Linda Banbury, Cherie Jordan and Amiee Branham; three sons, William E. Jordan, Jr., Edward M. Jordan and Douglas Jordan; one sister, Sandra Angles and eleven grandchildren.  Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 at the American Legion Post 433, 310 South 3^rd Street, Ironton, OH with a Dedication Ceremony at 7:30 PM.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Military graveside services will be held 1 PM the following Friday, February 15, 2019 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, Grayson, KY.  Funeral procession will leave Slack and Wallace Funeral Home at 12 PM.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Legion, Legacy Scholarship PO Box 361626, Indianapolis, IN 46236.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
