Vicki L. Benton, 65, of Sciotoville, OH passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.  Vicki was born November 28, 1952 in Ironton, OH a daughter of the late Paul Edward Thompson and Lula Kimble Mayo.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Pauley.  She is survived by her children Brandi E. Castle, Richard Michael Castle and Michelle Smith; one sister, Janet Neal; one brother, Edward Thompson; and one grandson, Jayson Smith.   Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH.  Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH.  Friends may visit one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
