My sincerest condolences on the loss of your brother, Gaynelle. Wish I had gotten to know him, as we could have discussed Air Force stuff.

To the best dad in the world. I could have never asked for better parents. They saved me at a very young age by adopting me. He taught me everything I know, except the bad things I have done. Besides having them I also have a great brother and sister. Love you and miss you already. Love your son, Kevin

Growing up, Dad was larger than life. It seemed he could do anything. As young kids, we could hardly wait until he came home. As adults, we adored him and it was rewarding to see how others loved him, too. Dad did extensive work in genealogy and enjoyed seeing what people did in their lives. He and I reviewed the below list about his life just last week: Patriarch: loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, with 19 Great Grandchildren Church: Deacon, Bible scholar and Sunday School Teacher Service: U.S. Air Force Airman and Korean War Veteran Work: Electrician, homebuilder and developer, entrepreneur, and farmer Hobbies: World travel, genealogy, bowling, snow skiing, boating and he played football at Coal Grove HS. Dad lived life abundantly. He finished the race and kept the faith. We are proud of him and fortunate to have known him as our Dad. All my life I have watched others love him, need him and respect him. To me, he still seems “Larger than life”. Dad, we love you! Your son, Marty
