December 27, 2018I was a student at Northeast High School in Oakland Park, Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area) when Frank was an administrator. I graduated in 1970. And I had the pleasure of getting to know him in a nontraditional way as I was a Student Council Officer and there were a number of interactions I had with him that were unique because of my position. Those interactions were telling about his character, his kindness, his commitment to the job he had been given, and the students he cared deeply for. I just discovered this page today by accident. I am grieved to learn of his passing. I am happy to learn he was a believer and knew where he was going when he died. My condolences to the family. I'm sorry I never met you. Frank was so much more than a school administrator to be feared (or to be made fun of). He was a most decent man, an educator who was there for all the right reasons. And I grew up a better man because he was a part of my life. I'm sure he has heard many times since his arrival in heaven, "Well done, Frank, thou good and faithful servant."Posted by:

May 26, 2017Me. Berry was very well liked and respected at Northeast High. He was extremely personable with the students. He wasn't hesitant to interact with the students. He will be greatly missed! I believe that the Lord will say, "Well done good and faithful servant." Thanks Mr. Berry for the great 4 years I had with you.Posted by:

May 26, 2017Mr. Frank Berry was a great man who made a positive impact in my childhood. He always sat with my father in the bleachers watching baseball games when I played against Greg\'s team. As a student at Northeast High School, he always attended sporting events and encouraged all his students to follow their dreams. As his office aide he showed what a true professional school administrator he was. I was lucky enough to spend the night over his house a couple of times with Greg and he showed what a great and loving man he was to his family and friends. I will truly miss him. My GOD bless him and the Berry family.Posted by:

May 26, 2017I had the opportunity to be one of Mr. Berry's students at Northeast High School. Not only was he a great teacher, he was a wonderful man and role model. I learned so much from him...lots more than just the English he taught in the classroom. I am praying for Mrs. Berry, Greg and other family members and friends who loved him as I did. I am sad that he is no longer with us here on earth, but rejoice that he is with Jesus and that I will get to see him again-for eternity.
