January 5, 2018Mary Ann was a wonderful, funny lady. We attended Ohio University together back in the 80\"s. We had several classes together and had a great time. I learned so much from her. She was a great friend. I have known her family for many years, especially her daughter, Karen, whom I was in 1st grade with. My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family.Posted by:

January 4, 2018Mary Ann was a neighbor and friend for 45 years. She was admired and respected by all who knew her. She was a pillar of the community but above all a down to earth and generous person with a smile for everyone. I will always remember her with love. January 4, 2018I had Mrs. Ater as an English teacher in 7th and 8th grade and I absolutely loved her. I was also blessed to have her as a neighbor for the last 32 yrs. You will be missed Mrs. Ater. The whole family is in my thoughts and prayersPosted by:

January 4, 2018Mrs. Ater was one of my teachers at Symmes Valley. I had her in 5th grade and then 7th and 8th grade. She always was straight forward and a loving teacher. I remember I had surgery on my knee my my junior year of high school, and she sent me a thinking of you card. I was surprised, but after I thought about it, I wasnt, she was that caring.
